An olive from Chania impressed NASA's experts as they chose it as Earth Science Picture of the Day (EPOD).

Note that the stones in the two nearbycemeteries are about 3,000 years old. This magnificent specimen region is 12.5meters tall. It has been declared as protected natural monument of Greece.
